TTP claimed the attack was carried out against the Aman Mela checkpoint in Dera Ismail Khan Province.
In Dera Ismail Khan district, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) fighters claimed to have carried out an attack on the Aman Mela Checkpoint in the Darazinda area.
According to a statement attributed to the group, the checkpoint was completely destroyed, and all soldiers present at the site were killed or wounded.
The group also claimed that a convoy traveling to reinforce the checkpoint came under an ambush and was subjected to further attack.
