UNSC froze IEA officials assets in 1999

When the United Nations Security Council imposed one-sided economic sanctions on Afghanistan on November 14, 1999, and ordered the freezing of all bank assets of Islamic Emirate officials, the late Mullah Rabbani, like many other officials of the Islamic Emirate, was also among those who did not have a bank account despite holding a senior position.
