Qassam Brigades commander Qais al-Baitawi was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Jenin in 2026

The Israeli military carried out an airstrike on the outskirts of Jenin in the West Bank, killing Qais al-Baitawi, a young commander of the Qassam Brigades in Jenin, along with two other fighters.

Qais was one of the prominent fighters in the West Bank and had been one of the Israeli military’s most wanted individuals for the past four years.
