Captain Fayyaz Ahmad was killed by the TTP in Swat in 2009
Captain Fayyaz Ahmad 111L/C ex 72PR. Captain Fayyaz Ahmad was a Pakistan Army officer who served with the 111th PMA Long Course and the 72 Punjab Regiment.
He was deployed in Swat during Operation Rah-e-Rast. On June 6, 2009, he was killed during fighting in the Kanju area of Swat after being hit in the chest by a rocket-propelled weapon.
Captain Fayyaz Ahmad was later posthumously awarded the Tamgha-e-Basalat (TBt).
