Captain Zia Ullah Among Five Soldiers Reportedly Killed in Ziarat Attack
ZIARAT, Balochistan — Five security personnel, including Army Captain Zia Ullah, were reportedly killed in an attack at Ziarat Cross, Balochistan.
According to reports, armed attackers targeted security installations in the area, including a police post and a customs facility. A customs warehouse and several vehicles were also reportedly set on fire during the incident.
The reported victims were identified as Captain Zia Ullah, Havaldar Samiullah, Lance Naik Noroz, Lance Naik Shakeel, and Sepoy Sajawal. At least seven other personnel were reportedly wounded in the attack.
Captain Zia Ullah, aged 38, was reportedly associated with the 8 Medium Artillery and posted with 134 Wing FC Balochistan.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack.
