Who Was Haseeb Panjshiri (Afghan Tajik)?
Haseeb Panjshiri (Afghan Tajik) was accused of involvement in crimes including extortion, kidnapping for ransom, theft, robbery, and targeted killings of businessmen and ordinary people in Afghanistan.
According to these allegations, he operated during the period of the US-backed Afghan government under Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani.
After the US withdrawal from Afghanistan and the collapse of the Afghan government in 2021, Haseeb Panjshiri (Afghan Tajik) was reportedly used as a proxy and hired fighter against the Taliban/ Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA).

The National Resistance Front on Thursday confirmed the death of Hasib Panjshiri (Afghan Tajik), one of its prominent commanders fighting the Taliban, after a media outlet close to Taliban intelligence reported that he had been killed in an operation.

Atta Mohammad Noor was the governor of Balkh Province during the former U.S.-backed Afghan government, and he expressed regret over the death of Haseeb Panjshiri (Afghan Tajik).
Zahra Kazimi, a member of the NRF group, also expressed regret over the killing of Haseeb Panjshiri.
