JNIM captured a military base in Sana Segou Region Mali in 2026
Al-Qaeda-affiliated Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen (JNIM) fighters have captured a fortified military base located in the city of Sana in the Ségou region of Mali.
JNIM fighters also seized hundreds of weapons from the captured military base.
