According to reports, Elite Force personnel Farooq Shah was killed last night in the Matani, Adezai, and Miramzai areas of Budh Bher, Peshawar.
Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that its members targeted Farooq Shah, who was serving with the Elite Force.
TTP Claims Killing of CTD Officer Farooq Shah in Peshawar
According to a statement attributed to Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), CTD officer Farooq Shah was targeted and killed in the Matani, Adezai, and Miramzai areas of Badaber, Peshawar, last night.
The statement claimed that TTP members carried out targeted attacks against Farooq Shah, who was associated with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
TTP further claimed that Farooq Shah had been involved in the arrest and killing of several of its members.
